Hi! Thanks for this newsletter, I’ve been dealing with finding a routine hair routine as I’m on a journey to heal my hair from previous dyeing.

To echo something said below, I’d love a post-workout skin routine (especially if you’re short on time!). And I know you’ve done this in various ways, but I love an updated essentials skin roundup as I’m looking to keep my routine pared down buuut add or swap things out based on weather/mood/etc.

Cheers,

Are you psychic? This newsletter read my mind. I have been obsessed with scalp health and I just found out this week that air drying your hair isn't always great (shocking info to me!!!) because it can potentially lead to fungal overgrowth? I haven't fact checked this one quite yet so don't quote me there.... But I have been trying to rough dry my hair after showering now. Wish me luck!!!

ANYWAY, this was so informative and another great read Andrea!! I'd love to read about your takes on fragrance, if you have any - what you're loving and how you feel fragrance fits into your life especially as we try to steer away from it in our skincare products. I have found that after becoming an esthetician I have been more selective and fine-tuned to what my nose can handle and what it likes.

Can't wait for the next newsletter!! xoxo

Hi! I love your Substack. It’d be so cool to read a comprehensive article about hair care routines. There are so many for skincare (e.g., what order to use products, what products to use together vs not, what types of products address what problems), but I have NO idea about hair care! Hi! I am perennially confused about post-workout, post-shower skincare routines for my face. I work out at different times of the day throughout the week, so the amounts of time between my workouts and my morning/evening skincare routines tend to vary, and I don't know what my post-shower skincare routine should be like relative to my regular morning/evening routine. For instance, if I work out in the morning, should I just skip my morning routine until after the workout if I'm just going to shower in a few hours anyway? If I work out and then shower in the afternoon, should I then redo my whole morning routine, or maybe do a mini version of it? So many questions! I'd really appreciate any advice you have on how to plan for/approach post-workout skincare at different times of the day!

Thanks so much <3 jeanne.dreskin@gmail.com
